Kagyu Ling’s annual year-end Chenrezik retreat takes place on 28, 29 and 30 December 2024.
There are four sessions of practice each day: 9am, 11am, 2pm and 4pm.
An explanation of the Chenrezik practice will be given at the 11am session each day so these are particularly suitable for anyone new to the practice.
This non-residential retreat is open to anyone with a serious interest in Buddhism, whether or not you have taken refuge, and you can drop in for one or more sessions or stay all day. Light refreshments will be provided during breaks but anyone planning to stay all day should bring their own lunch.
You can also join the retreat on the usual Chenrezik puja link if you can't make it to the centre.
Cost: £10 per day or £3 per session.
Anyone who wishes to sponsor the retreat is welcome to do so: visit the donations page.
To facilitate the retreat, Kagyu Ling’s classes will close after the Dzambala puja on Monday 23 December and reopen for Lojong on the evening of Thursday 2 January 2025. All classes will take a break during this period but some pujas will go ahead: check the puja page for details. Some of the regional groups will also take a break over Christmas.
