Pujas at Kagyu Ling Buddhist Centre
Regular pujas are held in the shrine room at Kagyu Ling.
To take part in pujas you should have taken refuge and received the appropriate initiation and lung (reading transmission) from a qualified Buddhist teacher.
The exceptions are Chenrezik, Green Tara and 16 Arhats pujas (on Buddha days) where all are welcome to sit in, even if you have not taken refuge or received the initiation.
We also hold regular practice afternoons. Each focuses on a particular deity and explanations of the practice are given. Check the upcoming events pages for details of future practice afternoons.
If you would like to request a dedication for someone such as a family member or friend, please use the dedication form. It is customary to make an offering when requesting a dedication. You can make a donation online.
Everyone is welcome to sponsor the prayers and pujas. You do not need to be a Buddhist to request a dedication – we welcome requests from the local community and beyond.
