Lama Jampa Thaye visits Manchester on 14 and 15 Dcember 2024 to continue teaching Situ Dharmakara’s commentary on the Mahamudra Aspiration Prayer composed by the 3rd Karmapa, Rangjung Dorje. This commentary provides a profound explanation of Mahamudra meditation and a defence of the special precepts preserved in the Kagyu tradition.
On Saturday the teaching runs from 10.30am to 12.30pm and 2.30pm to 4.30pm. On Sunday it is from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
On Sunday afternoon from 2.30pm to 4.30pm Lama Jampa will bestow the initiation of White Tara (Shakyashribhadra tradition.)
The teaching is open to all with a serious interest in Buddhism. Refuge and the bodhisattva vow will be given to everyone during the preliminary part of the initiation.
