Kagyu Ling and its associated groups are run by volunteers.  There are no membership fees and no charges for most classes, so our funding comes largely from donations and regular contributions.

We really appreciate the donations that visitors often make when they visit the Centre or our associated groups. But these do not cover the costs of running Kagyu Ling, which amount to over £8,000 per month.

Without regular contributions from members of our community to help pay the bills, Kagyu Ling would not be able to provide the precious opportunities that we do to study and practise Buddhism and meditation together.

Most people who make a standing order tend to donate around £30 per month. But any regular payments are welcome, whatever the amount. Having a reliable and regular income makes it easier for us to budget carefully and plan ahead.
